Booklet Makers

Ashgate are UK main agents for the British-built Kasfold range of stapler folder booklet makers. Ashgate have installed over 1600 Kasfolds since 1990.

Using the automatic Kasfold is simplicity itself, a collated set of up to 25 sheets plus card cover is fed into the bookletmaker, a photocell starts the bookletmaking cycle, leaving the operator both hands free for loading the next set.

The set is jogged from both sides, centre stapled, folded and front edge trimmed if required. A high-capacity stacker conveyor delivers the finished booklets. The optional on-line trimmer attachment saves hours of wasted time trimming booklets on a conventional guillotine.

Each booklet is individually clamped and the scissor-action knife trims each booklet perfectly. The trimmer can be added to any Kasfold at a later date, as budget allows.
